Sarah completed her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at Trent University in 2026 after returning to Ottawa in 2022. Prior to this, she spent five years living in Singapore, where she completed her International Baccalaureate diploma. During her time there, she volunteered with AWWA supporting children with Autism through after-school programming and also volunteered helping children learn English.

Alongside her work at the clinic, Sarah also works as a Residential Support Worker supporting women and gender-diverse individuals impacted by the criminal justice system. Through both her academic and frontline experience, she has developed a strong understanding of trauma-informed care and the importance of creating a compassionate, supportive environment for patients. Sarah is passionate about helping individuals feel comfortable and supported throughout their care journey at the clinic.

Christy began practicing vision therapy in 2015 and was proud to be part of the very first graduating class of Vision Therapy Canada, earning her PVTAP certification in 2017. She also holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and has enjoyed working in both educational and clinical settings throughout her career.

Vision therapy is especially meaningful to her because of her own family’s experience. Both her children participated in VT at a young age, and seeing the impact first hand gave her a deep appreciation for the difference it can make in a person’s confidence, learning, and daily life.

Christy loves working remotely with patients, as the comfort of home often creates a relaxed and supportive environment for healing and success.

Christy has had the privilege of working with Dr. Corriveau for many years and values the opportunity to continue learning alongside her as part of her practice.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, running, hiking, spending time with her family, and she makes a mean sourdough loaf.
